ADLD Mission

ADLD Vision

Dr. Drissa Kone is the founder of the African Diaspora Leadership Development initiative and an Associate Professor of Conflict Resolution and Ministry at HJ International Graduate School for Peace. He teaches courses in diplomacy, interfaith dialogue, leadership, Islamic studies, and restorative and transitional justice. Dr. Kone earned his B.A. in Teaching ESL from the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Côte d’Ivoire, an M.Div. and a Doctor of Ministry from HJ International, and an M.A. in Diplomacy from Norwich University. His scholarly work focuses on transformational leadership and effective strategies for managing cross-cultural conflict within diverse communities. Since 2016, he has coordinated the Universal Peace Federation’s African Diaspora initiative in the United States. He also serves as a visiting professor at the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
